Business closure or insolvency: how to sell your complete inventory

Magazijn met complete industriële voorraad - opgekocht door RBM-Trading

A business closure, relocation or insolvency brings enough worries of its own. The inventory left behind — often built up over years — shouldn't be one of them. Yet we regularly see complete warehouses full of valuable parts end up at the scrap dealer under time pressure, simply because space is needed fast. It can be done differently, and it doesn't have to take longer.

Time pressure doesn't have to mean losing value

Whether a building must be handed over empty or an insolvency administrator wants to settle the estate: the deadline is often hard. The good news is that speed and a fair price are not mutually exclusive. Our entire way of working is built for pace: an offer on the complete batch within 24 to 48 hours, collection at a time that fits your schedule, and payment by bank transfer within a few days. On request you'll receive a purchase order or agreement in advance — helpful for the administrative settlement.

One batch, one buyer, one settlement

The alternative — selling everything piece by piece via classifieds or auction sites — takes weeks to months, and at the end you're left with the unsold remainder. We take over the complete inventory in one go: from electric motors and pumps to frequency drives, bearings, hydraulics and even overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Marketable and less marketable items together, in one offer. No cherry-picking where only the best pieces are taken.

Also for administrators and advisers

In an insolvency, what counts for the administrator is a demonstrably market-based return and a swift, correct settlement. We substantiate our offer transparently on the basis of current market knowledge and put everything in writing. The proceeds of working industrial parts are typically a multiple of the metal value — a difference that goes straight to the estate.

A packing list makes the difference

We take the transport completely off your hands. You make sure the batch is ready for loading — for example on pallets — and in special situations, such as a vacant building, we'll discuss together what's feasible. What does help us enormously: a packing list, stock list or Excel overview of what's there. The better we know what's in the warehouse, the faster and sharper our offer. This is how it works in practice:

  • Send your packing list or stock overview via the offer form or WhatsApp, together with overview photos of the warehouse
  • No list at hand? Then send overview photos plus photos of nameplates where easy — we'll work it out together
  • State the location and the desired clearance timeframe
  • Within 24 to 48 hours you'll receive our no-obligation offer for the batch
  • Once agreed, we plan the transport — including coordinating the dismantling of, say, an overhead crane — and payment follows within a few days
